PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curl removing device for a sheet capable of preventing a sheet-like material from hopping around using a simple structure, removing a curl at the time of single side printing, and avoiding ink contamination at the time of two-side printing. SOLUTION: The curl removing device is equipped with a sheet transporting drum 3 to hold sheet and transport, a transport chain 1 to receive the sheet from the sheet transport drum 3 in the hand-over position and hold it and transport, a curl removing pipe 20 installed under the transport path for the sheet transported by the chain 1 and connected with a suction air source 26 for removing the curl from the sheet and also connected with an ejecting air source 25 for ejecting the air, and valves 27 and 28 to change over from the suction air source 26 to the ejecting air source 25 and vice versa, wherein the curl removing pipe 20 is installed near the hand-over position and ejects the air toward the hand-over position approximately when the air is ejected.
