PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a package for a tabacco product provided with a folded type coupon at a higher speed than that of manufacturing the package in a prior art. SOLUTION: The method and machine that manufacture the package for the tabacco product provided with the folded type coupon, wherein a plane band is reeled out from a reel and is supplied to a folding station, the band is then folded along at least one folding line parallel with the moving direction of the band, the folded band is subsequently supplied to a cutting station, the folded band is then cut along a cutting line which intersects with the moving direction of the band, the folded type coupon is separated from the band, the folded type coupon is engaged by a grip head cooperating with the cutting station, and the folded type coupon is arranged to be supplied to a packing conveyor, and to be supplied over the package of the tabacco product held by a pedestal.
