PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a flame-retardant adhesive tape having excellent basic adhesive properties such as adhesivity and retention power and high flame-retardance. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant adhesive tape is produced by adding a flame retardant to an emulsion adhesive obtained by the emulsion polymerization of a monomer component containing an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer and a monomer containing a polar group and applying the produced emulsion adhesive to a substrate. The flame retardant contains an emulsified flame retardant such as an emulsified halogen compound, an emulsified halogenated phosphoric acid ester compound, an emulsified phosphoric acid ester compound and an emulsified phosphazene compound.
