PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ceramic electronic component from which the peeling of second ceramic layers can be suppressed. SOLUTION: In this method, a laminate is produced by alternately laminating paraffin-containing first ceramic layers 11 and internal electrodes 13 upon another and the second ceramic layers 12 upon the top and bottom surfaces of the laminated body. Then the paraffin contained in the first ceramic layers 11 is diffused into the second ceramic layers 12 by holding the laminate at a prescribed temperature.
