PURPOSE: An apparatus for mounting a smart card of a mobile communication terminal is provided to realize a small mobile communication terminal by removing a limitation on thickness of a terminal housing. CONSTITUTION: A printed circuit board(200) is installed. A smart card connector(400) is placed on one side of the printed circuit board(200). A smart card(300) is connected with the smart card connector(400). A smart card holder(20) fixedly supports the smart card(300), and is made of a thin press support body to minimize increase in thickness. The smart card holder(20) is formed of a containing groove(21) containing the smart card(300) and containing holes(22) for fixing the smart card(300).
