The invention relates to a bonding anchor (10) that is anchored in a borehole (48) by means of mortar (50). An anchor rod (12) of the inventive bonding anchor (10) is provided with anchoring cones (30) in one anchoring sector (28), an expansion cone (42) which is disposed at a front end thereof, is used for expanding an expansion shell (34), and is retractable into the expansion shell (34), and mortar ducts (44) penetrating the expansion shell (34) in a longitudinal direction. Said anchor rod (12) displaces mortar (50) that has previously been fed into the borehole (48) rearward via the mortar ducts (44) when the bonding anchor (10) is seated such that the mortar completely fills a peripheral space surrounding the anchor rod (12) including a through hole (54) in the object (52) that is to be fastened.
