<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the amount of engine output compensation when a variable speed power required for a rotational speed change during variable speed is covered by an engine output, match a the rotational movement energy change to a gear ratio change. <P>SOLUTION: A target engine torque correcting means 106 acquires an engine torque command value T<SP>*</SP><SB>E</SB>by correcting a target engine torque T<SP>*</SP><SB>E0</SB>so that the gearshifting power required for rotational speed change is covered with an engine output during variable speed in which the rotational speed of a rotating system from an engine to the output of a wheel drive system is changed. In a hybrid transmission in which the power from a plurality of power sources is outputted to a drive shaft using a differential gear composed of a planetary gear drive, the rotational kinetic energy becomes a minimum value at a kinetic energy minimum gear ratio, and increases as departs from the kinetic energy minimum gear ratio before and after that. So, even if a variable speed direction is constant, the direction of rotational movement energy change changes from the border of the kinetic energy minimum gear ratio.
