<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide onion beverage, in which onion containing ingredients useful for human health promotion, e.g. various sulfur-containing compounds or flavonoid pigment is processed into an inexpensive beverage which is drinkable in fresh state, enabling long-term storage and to provide a method for readily and inexpensively producing the onion beverage. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the onion beverage comprises putting 100 pts.wt. grated juice of onion grated by a grater into a sterilized container having a stirrer, adding 18-20 pts.wt. brewed vinegar and 16-18 pts.wt. while sugar thereto, mixing these components under stirring, adding 130-140 conditioned water to the mixture, removing refuse by a filter to provide a filtrate and putting the filtrate as onion beverage into the container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
