<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector carrying out better alignment when attaching a flat type flexible cable. <P>SOLUTION: A first guide surface 293 is installed one step higher in front of a receiving part 9 to receive the flat type flexible cable 7 through a step surface 297. A second guide surface 295 is installed in face to face with a first guide surface 293 with a fixed space between. The leading tip of the flat type flexible cable 7 is almost horizontally faced to the receiving part 9 side from before, and a guiding projection 71 is abutted to a corresponding first guide surface 293 (refer to a diagram (a)). The leading tip of the flat type flexible cable 7 is guided to the receiving part 9 side by having the guiding projection 71 go along a first guiding surface 293, and having the leading tip dropped to the receiving part 9 from the first guide surface 293. When the leading tip of the flat type flexible cable 7 is dropped into the receiving part 9, there is a clicking sound so that the achieving of the alignment of the flat type flexible cable 7 can be easily known by an operator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
