<p>The invention relates to a method for treating a set (3) of at least two components from a group consisting of a wheel rim (4), a tyre (5) and a safety support element (6), said method consisting of the following steps: a set is used, wherein at least one of the components (4, 5 or 6) is provided with an information carrier (7, 8 or 9) that can be automatically consulted and, on consultation, is able to supply at least one data element that can be used to carry out the desired treatment on the set; said set (3) is brought to a treatment machine (2) that is able to carry out the desired treatment on the set under the control of a programmable data management unit (17); the information carrier (7, 8 or 9) of at least one of the components (4, 5 or 6) of the set (3) brought to the machine (2) is automatically consulted and the data is automatically transmitted to the programmable unit (17); the machine (2) is regulated on the basis of the data transmitted; and the desired treatment for the set is initiated and carried out by means of the machine (2).</p> |
