PURPOSE: An OLED display and touch screen system is provided to obtain a display with reduced weight, size and costs and improved reliability, and to allows for easy manufacture. CONSTITUTION: An OLED display and touch screen system comprises a substrate(10); an OLED display(14) including an array of OLEDs formed on the substrate such that the OLEDs are individually addressable; and a touch screen including an OLED laser light emitter(20) formed on the substrate, a light sensor(26) formed on the substrate, across the display from the light emitter, and an optical element(28) arranged around the display above the light emitter and the light sensor so as to permit light emitted from the OLED laser light emitter to be directed to the light sensor across the display.
