Quantity and pressure (PG) of gases supplied is controlled statically or dynamically as a function of the actual pressure (Pt) and/or materials properties in the individual gasification planes (I; II; III) : A processor-controlled valve ensures the supply pressure overcomes the actual local pressure in the plane. Local pressure and temperature are measured by sensors, to adjust relevant state values of gas- and process parameters, e.g. stirring speed. Measurements are taken by a common sensor in the respective plane. Pressures and masses of gas supplied are measured by instruments. Pressure is measured at the gasification planes, at constant or variable contents level. Various flows are introduced separately at different planes through channels in the stirrer, or fixed lines are employed. Introduction is throttled and/or passes through gasification bodies (e.g. porous ceramic). Pressure reduction (throttling) is achieved by e.g. valves, orifice plates, dampers or the design of gasification bodies. Porous, i.e. sintered material is employed for gasification. An independent claim is included for corresponding equipment.
|
