FOOD SUPPLEMENT USED IN FEED FORMULATIONS FOR RUMINANTS

The invention relates to a food supplement used in feed formulations for ruminants, containing at least one essential oil and at least one saponin. The inventive food supplement acts in the rumen in such a way that an optimal level of ruminal proteins, i.e. between 55 and 65 % of all proteins contained in the entire ration, is maintained. The invention applies to feed for ruminants.
