Information retrieving method and relay device for searching information on a network by using location information of a mobile station

An information retrieval method preformed by a relay center connected to a mobile communication network serving a mobile station (MS) and a base station(BS) which communicates with the mobile station(MS), and another network serving a server, comprises the steps of: acquiring identification information of the base station(BS), converting the identification information acquired in the acquiring step into a character string stored in association with the identification information, searching for, using the character string as a search key, information which is provided by the server to acquire information stored in association with the character string, and transmitting the associated information acquired in the searching step to the mobile station (MS).
