<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide concrete for ports which has fine aggregate containing a copper slag content increased to as high as 90 to 100 vol.% and does not yet causes a problem such as lowered workability due to an increased copper slag content and is used for, e.g. wave blocks, overlay blocks, or overlay concrete for caisson. <P>SOLUTION: The concrete for ports is composed of a binder, fine aggregate, and coarse aggregate and is characterized in that copper slag accounts for 90 to 100 vol.% of the fine aggregate, the binder comprises ordinary portland cement and fly ash, and the fly ash accounts for 32 to 50 wt.% of the binder. Alternatively, the binder comprises blast-furnace cement and fly ash, and the fly ash accounts for 32 to 65 wt.% of the binder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
