PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for manufacturing the armature of a rotary electric machine in which a high space factor can be realized. SOLUTION: The armature 15 of a motor is manufactured by applying a winding 14 to the teeth 13 of a core 12 through a nozzle 32. A fixed former 41 guides the winding 14 to the outer diameter side of the core 12 in a slot 13a. A movable former 42 guides the winding 14 to the rotary shaft 29 side in the slot 13a.
