PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and increase space efficiency in a structure for storing paper-money and preventing double feeding. SOLUTION: In storing, a paper-money M<SB>2</SB>is fed between a carrying belt 22 and a presser member 26 in a state that the presser member is at a waiting position (a). Then, the paper-money M<SB>2</SB>is stored in a storage part 20 by moving the presser member 26 to a retraction position (b). These steps are repeated to stackingly store the plurality of paper-moneys M<SB>1</SB>in the storage part 20. In delivering, the paper-money M<SB>3</SB>at the forwardmost position in the storage part 20 is delivered by a carrying belt 22 in a state that the presser member 26 is at a delivery position (c). When a passing sensor X detects that the rear end of the paper-money M<SB>3</SB>passes the area of a friction part 26a, the presser member 26 is moved to a double feed prevention position (d). By this, the double feeding of the following paper-money M4 can be prevented by the friction part 26a. By repeating these steps, the plurality of paper-moneys can be securely delivered one by one.
