The sealing strip (L) has two strip sections (1,2) movably connected together through a hinged joint (3) stretching in the longitudinal direction of the strip so that a first section can be stuck on the window frame (4) and the second section can be folded over to form an opening angle. This second strip section is supported on the window reveal (5) through a spacer which also helps to act as a seal. This second strip section is assigned a sealing lip (11) bent round to face the window reveal and forming the spacer.
