DISCHARGEABLE CAPACITY ESTIMATING METHOD AND ITS DEVICE FOR BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dischargeable capacity estimating method and its device for a battery capable of estimating the capacity for surely driving the load as the dischargeable capacity.

SOLUTION: A voltage drop estimating means 23a-1 estimates the voltage drop of the battery terminal voltage when the maximum electric current in high-rate discharging is continuously applied to the load. A dischargeable capacity estimating means 23a-2 estimates the quantity of electricity obtained by subtracting the undischargeable quantity of electricity determined on the basis of the voltage drop estimated by the voltage drop estimating means 23a-1 from the quantity of electricity dischargeable in the arbitrary full charging state, as the dischargeable capacity capable of continuously discharging the maximum electric current from the battery through the load.
