<p>A connector (1) having a form capable of being provided on a circuit board (2) in a space saving manner. The connector (1) has a housing (3) and portions where metallic members for fixing the board are installed are installed, the portions being arranged at different positions in the length direction of sidewalls (4, 5) of the housing (3). The connector (1) is characterized in that when plural connectors (1) are parallelly arranged, the portions, where metallic members for fixing the board are installed, of the connectors (1) are arranged in a staggered manner. On each of opposed sidewalls of adjacent connectors is provided a recess capable of receiving a leg of a hold-down member (6) fixed to the connector. Parallelly arranging connectors having such a structure enables a space between adjacent connectors to be minimized.</p> |
