PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement additive composition capable of giving excellent appearance of the surface of the cement composition after being hardened and having excellent preservation stability in an aqueous solution. SOLUTION: The cement additive contains a polyether-based compound (A) expressed by formula (1). In the formula, Z expresses a residual group having≥2 nitrogen atoms having 2-12 active hydrogen atoms bonded with nitrogen atom, A<SP>1</SP>O expresses one or more kinds of 2-4C oxyalkylene group in which any of a block state and a random state is used in the case of≥2 kinds, (n) is the average number of addition moles of a 2-4C oxyalkylene group and n=1-150, R<SP>1</SP>expresses a 1-22C hydrocarbon group or an acyl group, a=1-11, b=1-11 and 2≤a+b≤12.
