PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing fertilizer containing a large quantity of chitosan besides fertilizer fundamental components(N, P, K) by using shells of king crabs, the east coast of South Korea. CONSTITUTION: The fertilizer using king crabs is produced by the following steps of: (i) preparing fertilizer raw materials such as king crab shell, chicken residue, animal residue, food waste, animal waste, shell, zeolite and rice hull, and crushing rice hull into a 1.5mm size; (ii) mixing 15wt.% of king crab shell, 15wt.% of chicken residue, 15wt.% of animal residue, 15wt.% of food waste, 20wt.% of animal waste, 10wt.% of shell and 10wt.% of zeolite to get a first mixture containing 90% of moisture; (iii) spreading microbes over the mixture to be a ratio of microbe/mixture of 1000cc/1ton, and mixing rice hull and the first mixture to get a second mixture containing 70% of moisture; (iv) placing the second mixture at 50deg.C for 7days for anaerobic fermentation; (v) spreading microbes over the fermented second mixture and supplying air, and heating mixtures at 80deg.C for 30days during winter(or 15days during summer) for aerobic fermentation; (vi) placing the fermented second mixture for 3months; and (vii) selecting fermented fertilizer having an effective size and packing. The resultant fertilizer improves productivity and quality of plants without additional other fertilizers and agricultural chemicals. |
