PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese doll and an ornament wherein the occurrence of the discoloration and surface flaw of the dress of the doll and the surrounding ornament is reduced, and which perform spontaneous light emission with high luminance for a long period in the dark. SOLUTION: On the surfaces of the dress, hair, and doll main body of the Japanese doll (1) and the surface of the surrounding ornament (20), a glass film layer (11) consisting of a single or multicomponent-based metal oxide glass film is formed.
