The perfected trailer coupling has a support (1) fastened to the vehicle and an angled arm with vertical (3) and horizontal (4) branches. The support has a secant hole (5) for a tube-form passage. A detent (6) is fitted in the hole and with regard to the tube-form passage is radially movable between an intersecting position with the horizontal branch (4) of an angled arm (2) in which it prevents the withdrawal of the branch from the tube-form passage, and a release position in which withdrawal of the branch is allowed.
