<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus configuration managing device for identifying the kind of a communication unit arranged in each programmable controller (PC) and setting a communication parameter required for each unit in a network system including a plurality of PCs. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes an individual identification code acquiring means 20A connected to a plurality of PCs 1 having a communication unit with an individual identification code so as to read the code, a unit reliance data retrieving means 20C for retrieving communication parameter data required for the communication unit in response to the code and acquiring the data, an apparatus configuration management data storage means 20B for storing apparatus configuration management data which is obtained by combining the code of each communication unit with the communication parameter, and a transmitting means 20E for performing transmission to the communication unit whose actual code coincides with the individual identification code with respect to the set communication parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
