PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lipstick overcoat which has usability with smooth extensibility and, when applied onto an applied lipstick, keeps up the cosmetic effects of lipstick while enhancing gloss. SOLUTION: The lipstick overcoat contains 80-99 mass% oily component containing (a) 1-20 mass% dextrin fatty acid ester or fructooligosaccharide fatty acid ester and (b) at least 5 mass% glycerin fatty acid ester and having a viscosity of 10-1,000 mPa s at 30°C.
