PURPOSE: A traverse guide for winding elastic yarn is characterized by containing a streamlined sliding key member having length being longer than width of a guide groove pattern and width being smaller than the width of the guide groove pattern formed on a cylindrical cam. The traverse guide is capable of sliding without hanging or separating from a track, though the guide groove pattern having at least one cross-points. A winding device installed the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: A traverse guide for winding elastic yarn comprises: a plate(61); a gripper(62) formed on an upper side of the plate(61), formed a guide hole(62a) pierced the elastic yarn and exposed outside through a slit formed on a cam box; and an oblong sliding key member(63) which is inserted into a guide groove pattern, is slid and is formed on a lower end of the plate(61), having length being longer than width of the guide groove pattern and width being smaller than the width of the guide groove pattern. A winding device installed the same comprises: a base; the cam box installed on the base and formed the slit in a longitudinal direction; a cylindrical cam installed in the cam box, rotated and formed the guide groove pattern; the traverse guide; and a bobbin unit winding the elastic yarn guided by the traverse guide.
