METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING/PURIFYING BOTTOM MUD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for improving/purifying bottom mud which can surely improve a bottom mud layer and at the same time improve the water quality of a bottom layer by supplying oxygen efficiently to the bottom mud layer to remarkably increase dissolved oxygen without destroying water temperature stratification.

SOLUTION: A layer 100 of hyperfine bubbles comprising gas containing at least oxygen is formed so as to cover the surface of the bottom mud 90 accumulating on the water bottom at a prescribed depth. Oxygen is supplied from the layer 100 of the hyperfine bubbles to improve and purify the bottom mud 90.
