PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means preventing the generation of clogging of grommets on a guide rail, in a pinhole detecting device checking the presence of a pinhole in the grommet for preventing leakage arranged on a negative electrode side of a dry battery. SOLUTION: The pinhole detecting device 100 has the guide rail 104 guiding the grommet 70 fed from a feeder 103 to a turn table 102, two auxiliary members are installed in the length direction on a sliding down surface 118 of the guide rail 104, and a photoelectric tube 121 monitoring the flow of the grommets 700 is installed in the specified position of the guide rail 104.
