<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball-producing apparatus capable of producing the rice balls maintaining the original shape of each of the rice grains and never losing the softness and flavor of the rice ball itself. <P>SOLUTION: This rice ball-producing apparatus is characterized by joining a first forming part and second forming part having recessed parts having the shape of the rice ball at a longer axial direction of the end short side of a peripheral part as freely turnable and capable of opening and closing through a joining part in the planar part and central part having an almost planer rectangular shape, forming a furrow parts and between the furrow parts at the inside surface of the peripheral surface part of the recessed parts, also many recessed parts lined as a lattice shape at the bottom surface of the recessed parts, and installing a container of which recessed parts are enabled to be deformable as bending, a levelling means for uniformly levelling rice housed in the first forming part and the second forming part of the container, a forming means for forming the rice in the container without sticking grains of rice by bending deformation power while pressing the closed container housing the levelled rice by the levelling means from up and down directions and a conveying means for conveying the container through each of the above means one by one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
