The finger puppet assembly comprises an inherently stable body (1) with torso and/or head (2) and/or arms and/or legs, loops and/or tubes for sliding in the fingers. When inserted in the loops and/or tubes the fingers (13) protrude from at least one side of the body to enable movement thereof. The body is made from a flexible outer sheath with filling material. The stable body can be elastically deformable and/or can contain an additional reinforcement component.
