<p>There is provided a mobile terminal device capable of notifying a communication partner that a user of the mobile terminal device will be late for an appointment regardless of the condition of the user. The mobile terminal device (100) includes: a position detection section (1) for measuring the current position; a communication section (2) for transmitting/receiving an electronic mail; a clock section (3) for clocking the current time; an input section (4) for a user to perform operation; a display section (5); and a control section (6) for controlling the operation of the mobile terminal device (100). The appointment time, place, and partner are input by the input section (4). If the current position detected by the position detection section (1) at the appointment time does not match with the appointment position, the control section (6) transmits an electronic mail or the like containing the current position information to the appointment partner so that the user current position is automatically notified to the appointment partner.</p> |
