<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery and its manufacturing method wherein there are no pinholes at a welding part of the upper lid and the bottom container constituting the battery container, and the manufacturing is easy. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous secondary battery of a flat shape in which a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt are housed in a battery container, the thickness of the battery of the flat shape is less than 12 mm, its energy capacity is 30 Wh or more, and its volume energy density is 180 Wh/l or more, the battery container is constituted of an upper lid composed of aluminum or an alloy based on aluminum and a bottom container, and the surrounding cross sectional part of the upper lid and the bottom container is welded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
