PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability to enhance reliability by reducing a factor leading generation of gas leakage, to facilitate an assembling operation, and to reduce size, weight and cost. SOLUTION: In this reciprocating compressor, a plurality of gas compressing parts each having a cylinder and a piston are arranged, and a rotating motion of a crankshaft coupled to a driving source is converted to a reciprocating motion of the piston by Scotch yoke mechanism. In this reciprocating compressor, a head cylinder part 50 and a discharge block part 60 are integrally formed. The head cylinder part 50 is mounted to the fourth gas compressing part 34 such that high pressure gas respectively compressed in the gas compressing parts 31 to 34 joins. The discharge block part 60 is provided with a gas channel which introduces the high pressure gas supplied from the head cylinder part 50 to a discharge port for external supply.
