One embodiment of the invention consists of a sanitary article (11), which is planar, thus having an essentially flat design, and has a number of adhesive or sticky areas (18) for affixing it to a portion of the body. The adhesive or sticky areas (18) are provided on the outer edge. The sanitary article is absorbent at least in areas or has liquid-absorbing material in at least one absorbing area (13, 15). Two absorbing areas are provided that do not merge with one another to form a single piece, but are located at a distance from one another instead so that they do not touch. A continuous bending area (16) is provided between these absorbing areas. |
