<p>A conventional video combining circuit, which overlaps an OSD display, a sub-video display and a main video display, requires a complicated video output part for combining the three displays and also requires an increased size of memory in an internal memory part for storing data of the respective display layers. Additionally, an OSD output part, a sub-video output part and a main video output part are configured for their respective purposes, so that their functions are difficult to change. A video combining circuit, when receiving data transferred from an external memory part (101), uses a video processing circuit (103) having the functions of OSD, sub-video and main video output parts in addition to an alpha combination function to perform a vertical filter processing with data in an internal memory part (104) and overwrite the date in the internal memory part (104), thereby performing the displays.</p> |
