PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost by decreasing the number of times of ink nozzle forming work effectively. SOLUTION: In the nozzle plate 60 shown on Fig. 3(C), ink nozzles 44 are arranged such that the pitch Ps of the ink nozzles 44 along the main scanning direction becomes sparse and dense alternately between respective columns and the pitch Pf of the ink nozzles 44 along the subscanning direction also becomes sparse and dense alternately between respective rows. In the nozzle plate 60, the ink nozzle 44 is arranged selectively to face any corner part of a pressure chamber 46 such that all ink nozzles 44 are arranged geometrically symmetrically to the center of a communicating pressure chamber 46. Consequently, the performance of each ink nozzle 44, e.g. ejection quantity, speed and direction of ink, is made uniform. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
