<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video display device that uses a spacer member suitable to a large-sized stereoscopic video display device employing a liquid crystal parallax barrier system, that has excellent display quality, and that can deter the cost from increasing. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic video display device 30 comprises a backlight 32, a liquid crystal display panel 36, a liquid crystal parallax barrier 44, and a spacer member 40 arranged between the liquid crystal display panel and liquid crystal parallax barrier.
