PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building profile which enables a design member to be easily and firmly mounted on a profile body. SOLUTION: In this building profile, a first mounting support member 30 made of a resin and a second mounting support member 40 made of metal are mounted on the indoor side part (surface part) of the profile body 10 with a gap longitudinally set between them; an outdoor-side vertical plate 22 of the design member 20 is provided with a pair of hook-shaped pieces 24; and the pieces 24 are partially notched. The members 30 and 40 are fitted into a notched part 25, so that the design member 20 can be brought into contact with the indoor side part of the body 10; the design member 20 is longitudinally slid from that state, so that a piece part 24a (a first mounting part) of the piece 24 can be brought into pressure contact with an outdoor side surface 33a (a surface on the side of the profile body) of a mounting support piece 33 (a first mounting support part) of the member 30; and the design member 20 is mounted on the profile body 10 by making the piece part 24a (a second mounting part) face an outdoor side surface 43a (a surface on the side of the profile body) of a mounting support piece 43 (a second mounting support part) of the member 40 with a gap set between them so that the member 20 can be mounted on the body 10.
