PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiator capable of increasing the radiating efficiency of cooling water and reducing equipment cost and a Stirling refrigerator using the radiator. SOLUTION: This radiator 71 is installed in a cooling water device installed in the Stirling refrigerator generating cool heat by compressing and expanding working gas and installed in a water cooler heat-exchanging between the working gas and cooling water by circulating the cooling water through a cooling water circulation passage and heat exchanging between the working and the cooling water to heat exchange between the cooling air flowing in a cooling water line 75 installed on the cooling water circulation passage and the atmosphere. By this, waste heat from the Stirling refrigerator can be radiated. In addition, in this radiator 71, the shape of an upper header 77 allowing the cooling water line 75 positioned at an upper end part 71a to communicate with the cooling water circulation passage is the same as that of a lower header 78 allowing the cooling water line 75 positioned at the lower end part 71b of the radiator 71 to communicate with the cooling water circulation passage.
