PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device, an apparatus and a method for driving the same are provided to increase the response speed of the liquid crystal display device by outputting the correction gray level signal for pre-tilting the liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a gray level correction unit(400), a data driver(300), a gate driver(200) and a liquid crystal panel(100). The gray level correction unit(400) receives an original gray level signal from the data gray level source and outputs the correction gray level signal corresponding to the current frame by considering the original gray level signals of the previous frame, the current frame and the following frame. The data driver(300) outputs the image signal by changing the data voltage corresponding to the correction gray level signal. The gate driver(200) subsequently supplies the scan signal. And, the liquid crystal panel(100) is provided with a plurality of gate lines for transferring the scan signal, a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of the data lines and a plurality of switch devices connected to the gate lines and the data lines.
