PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and low-cost wheelchair having a tilt function suited to be used by severely disabled children (persons). SOLUTION: This wheelchair is provided with main wheels, a body frame rotatably retained to a shaft of the main wheels and having front wheels attached to the lower part of the front end, a rear caster support frame having one end rotationally journaled to the rearward upper part of the shaft position of the main wheels and rear casters attached to the other end, and a telescopic means having both ends rotationally journaled between the rear caster support frame and the lower part of the body frame and telescopically extending in the approximately horizontal direction. This constitution can provide the lightweight and low-cost wheelchair, safely tilt the whole wheelchair body without any possibility of overturning and facilitate the distribution of the body pressure of the disabled.
