<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive lithographic printing plate which can record an image by infrared scanning and exposure based on digital data and is highly so sensitive as to enhance on-machine developability. <P>SOLUTION: This thermosensitive lithographic printing plate has a thermosensitive layer containing a particle of a precursor to turn hydrophobic formed on a hydrophilic support. The thermosensitive layer is formed of a first thermosensitive layer on the support side and a second thermosensitive layer formed on the first thermosensitive layer.
