<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a statistic estimation device, method and program of queue capable of estimating an average use time or arrival rate based on a simple measurement with minimized cost or labor hour for the measurement or recording of a queue model. <P>SOLUTION: A resident detection part 11 observes the state of a system at an optional time interval to detect a processing object, and a total resident counting part 12 counts the number of the detected processing objects as a gross resident number. A residence identification part 13 identifies a processing object newly detected as a new arrival, and a new arrival counting part 14 counts the number of new arrivals as a new arrival number. An estimated value arithmetic part 15 estimates the statistic quantity of a queue by the processing objects in a system based on the observation frequency, the time interval of observation, the gross resident number, and the new arrival number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
