PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light scanning device which is equipped with a configuration capable of effectively suppressing a deformation due to the temperature variation of an optical element included in a scanning image forming optical system and accurately adjusting the curve of a scanning line and the inclination of the scanning line, and effectively corrects the relative color slippage among colors to contributes to the output of an excellent color image having little color slippage, and to provide a scanning line adjusting method, a scanning line adjusting control method, an image forming device equipped with the light scanner and an image forming method. SOLUTION: A curve correction means 71 which corrects the curve of the scanning line by correcting an optical element 30 in the sub scanning direction B of a beam, and a tilt correction means 72 which corrects the inclination of the scanning line by tilting the whole optical element 30 are provided, and at least a part of the curve correction means 71 and the inclination correction means 72 are provided in a unit in the supporting member 61 of the optical element 30, and further a correction means for write-in beginning position is provided.
