PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION, SUBSTRATE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL AND LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition from which a coating film excellent in alkaline developability can be formed even when a pigment is included in the composition and which is easily increased in the strength after hardened, to provide a substrate for a liquid crystal panel, the panel equipped with a color filter which is easily increased in the patterning accuracy and with a spacer which is easily increased in the strength and patterning accuracy, and to provide a liquid crystal panel which easily realizes high picture quality and high definition.

SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition contains a binder resin and an acidic group-containing monomer (a) expressed by formula (1) as the essential components of the composition. A colored layer, a protective layer or a spacer of a color filter is formed by using the above photosensitive composition. The spacer of the substrate for a liquid crystal panel equipped with a spacer is formed by using the above photosensitive composition. The color filter or the liquid crystal panel substrate is used to constitute the liquid crystal panel.
