PREPARATION METHOD OF AQUEOUS RESIN DISPERSION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material excellent in storage stability and coating film performances. SOLUTION: A preparation method of an aqueous resin dispersion is provided, which comprises adding water into a highly viscous resin solution (E) formed by dissolving a resin containing a polar group into an organic solvent; introducing a W/O type pre-dispersion (F) having a maximum viscosity Vmax of≥100 Pas and formed by the phase inversion at a shear rate of≤200/s, from the lower part of a triturating/dispersing apparatus having a structure and a power capable of generating a shear rate of≥400/s; conducting trituration/dispersion at a shear rate of≥400/s so that the average particle size of the emulsion particles may become≤1μm; and then discharging from the upper part of the triturating/dispersing apparatus.
