PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-colored manicure preparation in which discoloration with time is suppressed and change in color tone can substantially not be detected even when a mixed solvent (a non-aromatic solvent/water) containing water is used in order to prevent sedimentation of a pigment, a pearl, lame, or the like. SOLUTION: This light-colored manicure preparation comprises (a) a film-forming agent containing nitrocellulose and an alkyd resin in an amount of 0.1-1 mass based on 1 mass nitrocellulose, (b) a water-insoluble colored pigment, (c) a gelling agent, (d) a non-aromatic organic solvent and (e) water in an amount of 0.1-10 mass% based on the whole composition.
