HYDROGEN STORING MATERIAL POWDER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydrogen storing material powder the hydrogen storage amount of which is made large and the hydrogen releasing/storing speed of which is fast. SOLUTION: This hydrogen storing material powder is an aggregate of blended particles 2 each consisting of a matrix 3 and two or more ultra-fine particles 4 dispersed in the matrix 3. The matrix 3 consists of an alanate and the particle 4 is at least one selected from a metal ultra-fine particle, a metal hydride ultra-fine particle and a metal chloride ultra-fine particle.
