PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor coating apparatus capable of uniformly forming a film of a phosphor-containing liquid on an object to be coated. SOLUTION: Since a rotary nozzle is rotated, the rotational flow down of a phosphor slurry is accelerated though the rotational centrifugal force of the rotary nozzle and the pressure due to an upper tank is applied, thus enabling the uniform phosphor slurry film to be formed on the surface of an Al2O3film.
